Programme

Previous day:
If it is not possible for you to check in at our office, we ask that you call us on the previous day to confirm the exact time and place to pick you up, and so that we may answer any last-minute queries.

Day 1:
We meet at the arranged place for the transfer to López bay, where we become acquainted with our kayaks and the rest of the group while we pack. After a brief talk on kayaking safety and orientation, we are ready to begin our trip.
A few minutes after leaving López bay, we are immersed in magic scenery, the Tristeza branch of Lake Nahuel Huapi, surrounded by mounts López and Capilla, among others. We kayak part of the branch, and later stop for lunch by one of the most beautiful cascades in the area. In the afternoon, we continue rowing until reaching the source of the lake branch, where we set up our camp.

Day 2:
In the morning, we trek up the Frey cascade (degree of difficulty: very easy), amidst ancient larch trees, among other native specimens. We further prepare our kayaks for the return trip along the lake branch to López Bay, always rowing surrounded by high snow-peaked mountains, such as mounts Capilla and López, both towering above 6000 feet
